February 13th Chapter Meeting with Ben Turpin

Ben Turpin has been a fly fishing guide and instructor in Eastern, PA for 30 years and now guides primarily in the Poconos.  He is currently the Stream Manager for Pohoqualine Fish Association in Saylorsburg, PA, where he manages 10 miles of the McMichaels Creek and guides the members and guests.  On his days off from the club you will find Ben guiding the Brodhead and McMichaels Creeks near Stroudsburg, PA or floating the Lehigh and the East and West Branches of the Delaware River.  He also builds and repairs bamboo fly rods during the winter months.

The presentation is "Beer's with Ben 2.0"  This will be the second time Ben will come and answer questions for the club on anything they want.  We can cover topics such as fly presentation, fly patterns, fishing techniques, stream management and more.  Last year's Beer's with Ben lasted almost 2 hours and nobody left the room or fell asleep.  It was well received, informative and lots of fun.  This is an interactive program, so come with your questions ready.

Come to the next Chapter Meeting 7:30pm, Thursday, February 13th at the American Legion Hall in Whippany.
